Kaitake Spring has gone from strength to strength with owner/rider Elsa Wrathall who has brought him through to the open heights in eventing.

He has now competed with confidence up to pre-novice HT ending his 2013 season competing at the Taupo Three Day.  He flew the X Country and Show jumping and is building on his dressage.

He is now being taken in and having some Show Jumping training and also getting his dressage work consolidated.

Spring was leased to Lara Williams for part of 2013 where Lara did some good work with Spring taking him out to local shows and  jumping 95cm – 1.0m with ease including the local A&P shows and not really getting fazed with all the hype of the sideshows.
Kaitake Spring has been turned out for the best part of a year and is now ready to go to a young confident rider for lease with option to buy.
He is a fun pony and needs a good all round rider who can bring his dressage on further for an even more competitive eventing career or be taken further with his show jumping. Interested parties must be genuine and have experience as Spring is not suited as a first pony.

Kaitake Spring reminds us of his granddam Willowburn Pebbles, who jumped Grand Prix.

Spring has a really nice nature and is a special boy. He is happy to try new things when shown. He is happy to load first on to the float or truck if required. Spring doesn’t seem to stress about things even if nervous. He is quick to learn and takes things in his stride when given the time to soak up what is around. Has a beautiful huge springy jump on him with the added advantage of a great nature so just seems to take things as they come.

A very strong pony with presence and a very trainable nature he will go far.

Spring has measured in at 148cm with ease with the official measuring system.

Now that they are out both Stella and Spring are starting to be noticed and take peoples’ eyes. We are very pleased with the pair.
